Helping to raise funds to increase Holocaust awareness
The Children of Jewish Holocaust Survivors Association is a grass-roots, non-for-profit organization. We work together with many organizations that share or complement our mission of increasing Holocaust awareness and understanding in our community and, indeed, in the world. We strive to broaden this perspective, encouraging the participation of our members and others who have similar heartfelt interest in Holocaust-related issues.
Supporting Holocaust education scholarships
Our scholarship program is unique in its implementation. Learning institutions that have a Holocaust student program are identified and chosen annually by our Executive Committee. The institution’s program is evaluated on Holocaust awareness and educational content. A scholarship is awarded to the institution based on specific criteria, present status and future plans for continued Holocaust educational studies. The institution is responsible for selecting which student presently involved in Holocaust studies is eligible. Once the scholarship is awarded to an institution it is, in turn, responsible for its distribution to the selected student.
CJHSA-SAC- Social Action Committee
CJHSA has formed a Social Action Committee to provide a platform for our members to voice their concerns regarding the recent rash of Anti-Semitism and Hatred that we are witnessing world wide. We urge you to get involved. Join One Voice and together we can make a difference. Please check our events page for upcoming meetings and programs.
